He has been a contributing writer and photographer for "Shecky Magazine.com", "Stand-Up Comedy Magazine", and "The World Series of Comedy Las Vegas Comedy Show Comedy Competition".
In 1978 he founded one of the first comedy clubs outside of the N.Y., L.A., areas. The Wit's End in Lansing, and Grand Rapids, Michigan.
He was the Producer, Director, and a Comic for the comedy game shows, "We Can Make You Laugh" and "Krack Me Up". These shows appeared at over seven hundred colleges and universities in over forty states and were nominated and placed on the final ballot (three years in a row) by "NACA" for the "College Entertainers of the Year" award.
Joe has performed his comedy routine for numerous organizations and corporations: Amyway Corp Hqts, Battle Creek Hot Air Balloon Championship, Columbus Hot Air Balloon Festival, Chicago Area Chiefs of Police, Chicago Firemans Assoc., Detroit Lions Training Camp, (these guy really needed a laugh) Magic Johnson Corp. National Assoc. of Letter Carriers, Ford Motor Co. NY, NY. Michigan National Guard Headquarters, Officers and NCO Clubs: Ft. Knox, Sawyer AFB, Wurtsmith AFB, USO Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo. and many, many more...
He has shared the same stage with stars like Lewis Black, Tim Allen, Gary Shandling, Dave Chappelle, Gallagher, Louie Anderson, Frankie Valle and the Four Seasons, The Drifters, The Romantics, and The Temptations.
His acting Credits Include: Nashville Children's Theater, Boarshead Michigan Public Theater, Theater of WV, Odessa Globe Theater, Odessa, Tx., National Shakespeare, Woodstock, Ny. and a B.S. Degree in Speech and Drama from Eastern Michigan University.
Joe is also proud to say that he served as a U.S. Navy Radioman in the Philippine Islands and Vietnam from 1965-68 and that in January of 2011 he and his wife will have been happily married for 42 years.
